Imperial Rock ‘n’ Roll
Champions of Champions
On 1st March 2020 our Comp Squad attended The Imperial Open Freestyle & Rock ‘n’ Roll Championships 2020 in Spelthorne.
The day started off with the rock ‘n’ roll competitions in age categories followed by the Champions of Champions competition where the winners in each age category danced against each other for the title of Imperial Rock ‘n’ Roll Champions of Champions 2020. We had two couples dance in this event and they finished as the winners and runners up!
Well done to Katie Odds & Pedro Gieseke (winners) and Ryder Gronneberg & Ella Carr (runners-up).
We also had some great results in the freestyle sections which followed, including 5 first places which lost lives for all those dancers. A special mention goes to Emily White who lost her last life in Slow and will now move up to Starters.
